Marker Jester binding

So, I picked a pair of these up recently off a friend, because I'd heard a million good things about them. I later realized that I probably don't need a 6-16 DIN binding, and that a lower range one would have worked fine. I have PX 12s on my park skis right now, and the DIN is at 6 (though it was wayy too low and I was prereleasing all over the place), so I'd probably be fine with my DIN at 8ish, which a lower range binding would easily cover.
Wondering if these are still going to be a good binding for me, or if I kinda messed up in my choice. Is the jester going to have a lot of extra, unneccesary weight? And is it going to perform well enough at a lower DIN?
I'm 6' 140, if anyone wanted that for reference.

You could sell it and get something else but I'd just keep them, they will allow more room to improve and increase resale value on whatever skis you have. They are a great binding.

Id keep em, at 6' and 140 pound im assuming you still got some weight to put on as ya get older, at least i hope your a young kid at 140 pounds, and as your skiing improves you'll want a better bindings, they should be a good investment that will last a while, but if ya need the cash now griffons wouldn't be a bad idea

Yeah, I basically bought them as an investment, so I wouldn't need to get some better bindings in a couple years. I'm fine with them, and I don't need the cash.
Basically, I'm more about if they'll still be a good binding quality wise for me now. Sounds like there won't be a problem?

So basically bump for a direct confirmation that they won't work any worse by having the DIN in the low numbers?
I will be at around 7-9, will there be any problems because I'm not in the middle of the range?
