Marker griffons on K2 kung fujas

I'm getting k2 kung fujas for this season, to be used for everything. Only going for 1 pair this year. I'm looking at th marker griffons. But at bc.com they come with brakes at either 90 or 110. The skis are 95 at the waist. I know 90 will be to thin, but will the 110s be too wide? and is it possible to swich out the brakes with something around 100 or something?

90 will not be too thin. lil elbow grease and hey presto, done. better to stretch brakes a bit than to have hooking issues. your shop should have no problems when they mount them for you.

the 90's should be fine. there's no reason to have all that overhang. you'll just need to pull out on them a bit so they move easily over your ski edges.

the 90 will fit over the 95. i promise. i did it the other day at the shop. you'll be awesome. and the jesters are actually pretty dope and make fat skis handle narrow. it's sick.

I'm probably wrong on this so please don't get mad, just tell me if I'm wrong or not. I think on a ski like that it's supposed to be mounted a bit back where it will be wider than 95. Well either way I say go for the 110. You run more of a risk of ripping the brake off I think, but just go with it.

if you ever land switch, the break will hook and eject you and possibly damage your binding
you can bend the brakes to make it work really easily, and any decent shop will do it for you
