Marker griffon problems

The little release slide on my binding is stuck slid half way out and the spring that brings is back to center is sticking out. Anyone else have this issue. What did you do?
 
I'm having trouble trying to work out what part of the binding you're talking about. I think it's the AFD, just to confirm it is the AFD right ...625699.jpeg
