Er.. no.
The Griffons have more plastic, and use far less metal than the jester, and therefore, are not the same as the jester. they have a similar mold, but thats about all it is.
I used them last spring on a volkl demo day, where my volkl rep had recieved a pair, and mounted up his walls with them. I tried them out because we have a similar BSL. They were nice and light, and had a good wide platform, but even when I cranked them up to about 10 or 11, they would prerelease, even at my low weight. I didnt have this problem last year when I rode my coworker's bridges mounted with jesters.
If you're doing a lot of jibbing, weigh over 150/160lbs, or just ski really hard to begin with, go with the jesters, or something else.
Sidenote: Marker might have been making bindings forever, but they have also been
only making decent park/freeride bindings for one season. Before this last season,
the only bindings I'd ever use from marker would be comp 16's, because
everything else was complete garbage, and would fall apart, pre-release, or tear your knees off. I'd choose just
about anything made by look or tyrolia over a marker binding with the biometric toe.
