Marker griffen bindings BROKE!!

last weekend i was shreding with some frineds a threw a front flip off of a jump that really is not big at all. when i landed my back binding broke off and there was a peice of metel that had just snaped. i have only had theis bindings since the begining of this season (about 30 days of use) Ok but to the point. they are being sent in because i guess marker has to see if they can refund me but i need new bindings soon!!!! does anyone know how long this will take?!
 
Im 90% positive Marker Griffons are entirely plastic (correct me if I'm wrong) And perhaps your DIN was too high? It seems like you should have ejected but idk the circumstances. Really not a very helpful post at all
 
Broke my FKS 120's (have not been in production for like 2 or 3 years at that point). Call Rossi sent them in and they rebuilt them free of charge no questions asked.
I'd assume marker will do the same
 
i have the same ones and i hate them. they keep fucking up and i pop out way to easily no matter what the din is set on and the break refuses to go down sometimes
 
my din was at like a 7 and i weigh like 140 and im really fucking hard on my skis so i think the din was fine. i just want to know if anyone has had any experience at sending bindings in?! like how long does it take to get reffunded?
 
same thing happened to me, but I had the griffon schizos. Was it one of the 4 pieces of plastic that hold the heel piece down? Because that is exactly what happened to me and many others it seems...I went the route of just buying deadbolts and moved right on, and glad I did.
 
that whole peice on the bottome that holds the track broke and then this part on the binding that holds the break on broke... lol its hard to explain it
 
as I_like_powder said above... they do make low DIN bindings that are awesome bindings, not everyone needs to go up to 16+.
 
OP I would just buy another pair of bindings. Then just sell the replacement bindings if you get them warrentied.

 
i have always had a problem with marker bindings so i tried salomon.... still problems... so now i just boot ski
 
I hear ya. Sorry, I couldn't resist, I saw the title and broke in capitals, my fingers started running on the keyboard, and words went down.
 
exact same thing happened to my schizos. they are in the shop now and i should have them friday. makes that a week down time
 
hahaha thank you for making my day and reminding me how much of a tool tanner hall is. and anyone that says i suck or im a dumbass and tanner the man. why dont you hop off his dick and go jump on someone elses.
 
if you want to win EVERY dick measuring contest on the mountain you do. (need high din bindings) lololololol

but srsly FKS best binding evar. i just wish i could still get the 155 toe. without the din range of the 180s.
 
More like 100% plastic. Theres a reason I would never mount griffons or squires on any of my skis.

@op: It sucks that this happened to you, and i really hope marker helps you out and hooks you up with some new bindings. But i'm really not surprised this happened to you.
