Has anyone used them?  Are they sweet?

I'm just not sure whether I should get those or keep using trekkers.  Obviously skinning would be way easier with the Dukes, but I'm thinking it might be weird skiing with them because of the lift (even though they're way lower than other AT bindings).

Apparently they've been sold out since September. Talked to Marker today cuz I'm thinkin' about trying out a pair of the Jesters and they said they don't know when they'll get more Dukes back in stock and the Jesters are going fast... I just need to decide if I really want to make the switch from Look.

there have been some rediculously good reviews on these. They would be much better than trekkers and most say they ski like a normal alpine binding

i tried the marker dukes on my ep's and had the same problem as my naxo 21's, when i was dropping 15+ to switch it kicked me out of the toe peice everything else is pretty bomb proof, my only complaint is having to get out of the binding to go into walk mode, my naxo's walk better, but i can tell the marker is most likely be more durable, i wouldn't suggest it for a day hike, but for accessing terrain outside of the ski area boundary its a great choice, if i crank the dins up all the way i dont blow out of ether of them but you are risking your legs at that point. so all in all i'd say the duke is pretty bomb proof other then the switch landing issue. if anything else happens that surprises me i'll post it up.

dukes are dope... but if you are fine with the alpine treckers and you like your bindings on your alpine skis or you need a higher din binding or just dont want the extra lift I would say you dont need them and you should stick with the alpine bindings...
