Marker anyone have trouble with the brakes

I have destoryed my marker brakes in 7 days of skiing Ive been hurt so nothing huge a few wimpy straight rails alot of pipe and straight airs but the bindings are now useless cause of the bent brakes coming off the rails in the binding.

Anyone having this problem too?

Your first mistake was buying Marker bindings, but I'll forgive you for that.

As for the brakes, try bending them back. Use heat if necessary.

ya i have some m1200 tis and the fukn brake got all sorts of fucked up

Dont get gloves though, gloves are out. just use a cigarette to keep your hands warm.

its not the brake itself that is bent its the track both the male and female ends that are shot. Ive own marker in the past say 5 years back and this was never a problem. I will take them in but this is a a crap binding.

my friend got markers, thought they were the shit but his breaks dont go down when they fall off.

its like the problem I have. if he looks at them carefully he might find that the brake track is bent somewhat. Either the female or male parts to the brake will be bent or not on. This also affects your dim and your binding wont release the it should ie comes off too eay or not at all.

ya on my reantals i have these cheap ass markers and i was doin somethin and my ski came off and it rolled and rolled and bent the binding but who cares there not mine!!!!!!!

around 7 or 8 after i hurt myself. but i cranked them up after they were releasing and that didnt help.

i work in a ski shop as a tech, and the brakes that i've seen break the most are marker, then salomon, but marker is the worst

they almost always have extra brakes at your local shop i would guess, but i know marker ran out of them around mid-january of this year and didn't make anymore

How is it going,

I have got Marker Brakes and would recomend them. Awsome Brakes. The only problem I have had is the brakes, and that was because I had it mounted volkl v pros, and the ski was a little wide for the brake. I am currently soring this out through the marker guy in New zealand, who is going to hook me up a wider brake for free.

I think the whole set up is hooped. the binding brake track looks bent, along witht eh brakes themselves.

Wow, i used to brake those bindings religiously. whenever you land switch the break catches and then just rips off. sucks.

i've never had problems with my markers. my salomons are so bent they don't even go down on one ski now
