"Mark as Read"

This might have been brought up, but I'm not going to waste time searching when I know I won't be able to find it.

So I was thinking making a "Mark as Read" button. Not for inbox, but for My Threads. This would let you keep it in your All Threads section, without having to open it everytime there is a post to get it out of your My Threads section.

I hope that makes sense.
 
i actually think that this is a wicked good idea, instead of posting MY THREADS, in the thread you could just mark it and it would appear in your threads for you to go back on and look at
 
Ok, so let me see here. You're saying you want a button, that places a "My Thread" in your All Threads instead, so that it isn't popping up in your threads every time someone posts in the thread. Sooooo, essentially a thread you want to keep around, but not necessarily care whether or not it is being posted in?

And if that's the case, wouldn't it make more sense just to have a "Favorite Threads" section, where you could put a thread in there whether or not its being posted in. Something you could add or remove whenever you wanted?

And if I missed the whole idea, dammit you really do suck at explaining things. =)
 
hahaha yea pretty much. and a "favorite threads" section would pretty much be the same thing. Only if it's done this way, a new section doesn't need to be added, only a button.

I don't really know just delete the thread ashley ahaha
