Apparently the new Mario 3D game promotes animal cruelty by having a 'power up' suit in which mario wears a tanooki (raccoon dog) suit that allows him to glide across the screen. looks like they're about 21 years too late. OG tanooki in mario 3 was boss and peta didnt give a shit about that
