Couldn't find anything via searchbar and just wanted some suggestions for schools with adequate marine biology programs. And on a side note, I have been searching using college board and stuff like that but i was looking for more personal experiences. thanks ns

my brother is going in to roger williams (in rhode island) as a freshman for marine bio. i don't know much, but they have a yacht and other shit especially for their program so i guess its sick. and i know the university of connecticut's avery point has a good program (down in groton) for marine bio and shit like that. right on the water and stuff. i don't have any personal experience, but i know those are good schools for it. good luck

roger williams does have a really good marine biology program, two of my friends are in it. its in bristol RI pretty much surrounded by water where they do a lot of trips out into the water. its also not far from woods hole MA near the base of cape cod which is a research facility that does tons of things with marine biology (boston university also does a marine biology program through woods hole).

university of maine and university of new hampshire also offer good programs with marine biology.

stockton in south jersey is fairly cheap and has a good marine biology program, and my friend goes to the U of miami, and their program is really good too

Have a few friends who did marine bio at UNH and liked it a lot. Know a couple of the professors cause I grew up with their kids and they are pretty awesome people. real laid back, funny as hell, and super smart.

Check out sierra nevada college. its gonna be my third year there. im a business major but they got this whole lake study setup shit. Its not the ocean but its close enough. At least look into it. There's a ski hill 5 minutes away from campus.

I'm not sure if you are looking at Canadian Universities or not.But if you are I have heard great things about both UBC and University of Alberta. UBC, UVic, U Alberta and U Calgary all offer courses at Bamfield Marine Sciences Center. It's this remote little research center on Vancouver Island that is really cool.

UC Santa Cruz has a pretty good program, plus the campus is awesome and Santa Cruz itself is pretty nice

I'm pretty sure there are really good schools for this stuff in CA. fack, i forgot what city it is but it like revolves around marine biology and all that awesome stuff. DAMNIT I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME
