Marijuana is used for many things. People mostly smoke it just to get high and have fun. But also its there for Medical Marijuana.

Medical Marijuana can be used for Cancer,Multiple Sclerosis and Glaucoma.

Now many people say that Marijuana should be legalized. I did not agree before. but after doing research i have learned that its not that bad. Actully alcohol is much worse for your body then marijuana.

Here are the most common side effects of marijuana:

Trouble remembering things

Sleepiness

Anxiety

Paranoia

Altered time perception

Physical Adverse Effects of Marijuana

Dry mouth

Nausea

Headache

Tremor

Now honestly iv done marijuana here and all the side effects i get were dry mouth and sleepiness.

Now im not saying marijuana is good for you becuase its not but comparred to alcohol its much worse.

So really which is worse in the long run? And should marijuana be legalized?

And really the only reason the goverment will not legalize it is becuase how can they make money from it. Think about it. The way you would get you marijuana is most like house grow... How many times do you go to find alcohol that is home made. most to never right. you would find someone to buy it from a store or go buy it yourself from a store.

So really thats my opinion.

im sort of glad its illegal. where i live its not a big deal and getting it is so damn easy, becuase its illegal, i can get cheap, and easier than i can get alcohol, and we have a lower drinking age than the states.
 
think about the dealers there out of a job and i would probablly be mixed with addictives from companys
 
what's the US law do if you're caught with weed? over here in the UK it's just a slap on the wrist and "don't do it again sunny"
it should be legalised though, or if not, just let people do what they want with their life in regards to drugs. if we wanna fuck ourselves up, let us! i'm sure most of us on here are much more likely to get hurt skiing than doing a bit of marijuana once in a while.....
just my views....
 
the real question is why is there an "age limit" on porn if it is taught in health that masterbation is good and natural
 
i agree. but there are more reasons than the gov not being able to make money on it cuz people can grow it themselves that its illegal.

if you look into it, and why cannabis is illegal in general, is because of the big businesses. cannabis products could be used to make all sorts of products, including clothing, paper, oil (or so i've heard...) and other things much more efficiently than they are produced currently. however, the big businesses lobbied to keep it illegal so that they can, well, stay in business.
 
I think our government should quit being complete douchebags an do something that will actually help the economy. If they would legalize weed they would make so much money cause so many ppl would get it from the pharmacys an shit.

 
Here me out on this one. I have been learning in Histroy that people came to america for te tobacco plant. Now i no weed is way better but they are kinda similiar if you think about how it starts and where it comes from. They both are drugs but how come only one is legal

also hemp is an amazingly more profitable product than cotton

it can be grown by anyone, seriously it could fucking save our economy

you get fucked over in the us! you can get major jailtime. luckily for me (since im a rich white kid) when i got arrested i only had to take classes and do 40 hours of community service
 
I think if you just get caught with it, it's not that big of a deal. Depending on how much they might just let you go, give you probation, pay a fine, few days in jail, etc.

I don't really know anyone that's just got caught with it but my friend got caught dealing it and they searched his house and shit and he's facing 4-10 years in federal prison for "conspiracy." The whole situation is total bullshit and our government is wasting a shitload of money trying to convict these fuckers instead of legalizing the shit and stimulating the economy. Dumb fucks.

not only is weed less harmful in the long run, the legalization of marijuana would do wonders for society and our economy. A long ass time ago the lumber companies were losing money because newspapers were being made out of hemp, so they passed legislation that basically said hemp is a relative to marijuana, and therefore should not be used in mass production of something that is publicly used. Newspapers have since been made from regular wood paper, leading to (among other things) mass deforestation, instead of crops that can be harvested and regrown year after year (and would supply jobs.) Also, the legalization would decrease (not eliminate) gang violence, for obvious reasons. Finally, crops of marijuana would supply even more jobs than the newly legal newspaper hemp crops since there would be a much larger market for it. I've heard that Marlboro is working on passing some sort of legislation to make it legal to sell pre-rolled joints, claiming that they would be produced in a factory and sold in stores, rather than dealing with drug dealers. I think that is a logical first step in the legalization of marijuana. End rant.

tobacco can be grown by people just like marajuana, it has been sold legally, it could work, this is a lazy post but just compare ciggs to ganja, imagine if you could go buy a pre-rolled joint in the store...or wait....ganja is legal and sold in Amsterdam, im pretty sure that works out pretty well
 
i truly think that as soon as they come up with something to measure exactly how high you are at any given time, like a breathalyzer and your blood alcohol content marijuana will be legal. the government just wants to regulate how high we get and make sure we dont drive and shit
 
it should be LEGAL!! fuck the pharmacutical system. they sell drugs that are terrible for you anyways. half their shit you can get addicted to! if marijuana was legal everyone would have home grown medicin and not risk the long term affects of other medicine. the government is a fucking joke and dont have one real reason to keep it illegal, " its a gateway drug" if someone is going to do fucking coke or meth they will no matter what. weed wont make them. hell anything can be considered a gateway drug if you want it to be. also the govt says its related to racism. fuck that we make shirts out of cotton. and what did the slaves do? oh yeah they worked on cotton plantations. The point of this is that marijuana should be legal. no questions asked!
 
My grandmother has vertigo, and her meds make her vomit and shit, so I baked some brownies and gave them to her without telling her they were "special." She seems happier now.

Society has dug a hole for reefer that it can't get out of.. It is a better solution to many industrial and economic problems, it has been criticized and pushed out of society by our government and ignorant population. Government would change radically if marijuana was legal, any politician who would need to change his views to keep donations coming, and nobody would elect an official that changes their mind... especially on an issue such as this. This can't be undone, pot will never be fully accepted by society, at least not in our lifetimes. Even if it was, the government would regulate the tree on the market.. this would mean less quality ganja, not as much fire to go around. There would be an insane luxury tax, but small dealers and current drug cartels would be pushed out of business, there would be no need for them anymore. All this comes down to you, the guy smokin bud. You would in turn have to pay higher prices for shittier herb, and even higher prices for chronic if you can get your hands on it. There would still be small dealers, but it would be harder to find them. Green is a great thing, and being found to do more things for the general well-being of the public, but unfortunately it has been labeled as a taboo and cannot ever fully be brought back into society.. it has been outlawed too long, as opposed to alcohol which had prohibition, but it was brought back into politically correct society soon after. I love burning, and wish I could do it more openly without being punished by law, but I think it is better if it remains illegal. If society was different and different choices about cannabis had been made leading up to today, then I would be all for legalization of it. Unfortunately under todays circumstances this is not possible...
