Hey NS as usual I am heading out west for spring riding

but this year is different.... i'm of legal drinking age and pot is recreational in colorado

usually i go to SLC and ride Alta/bird and canyons//pcmr

I'm looking for some guidance on resorts, hidden gems, and dispensaries

i am a east coast park rat with a hardcore vermont racer dad. so we do not explore much outside of lift accessible terrain.

I want a mountain with good night life but not $200 sushi and $30 burgers like PC

Also what is required to enter recreational dispensaries besides photo ID

SENDER SEND IT

I don't know anything about the hidden gems... But I have heard that if you do want to go into a dispensary and purchase your legal marijuanas, you are going to have to be a Colorado resident with a Colorado ID.

If you want to go into a dispensary and buy it, you have to be a resident. I've tried. It didn't work.

That being said, if you aren't a resident you can still smoke as many marijuanas in public areas as you'd like.

i hate this thread and i barely read any of it. but you dont have to be a resident. but like residents your gonna have to wait until january 2014.

Growing and Purchasing Limits - Adults over 21 can grow up to six plants or buy up to one ounce of pot in retail stores. Medical patients can buy up to two ounces. Out-of-state visitors would be limited to one-fourth of an ounce per retail transaction, though they could legally possess the full ounce. They cannot take it home with them.

Great news ^. Great thread too. Can't wait to make it out there..

Sounds like its still a work in progress but they got a lot of things figured out. Legal bud is the best bud though. It kills me to think this fucked up mormon and conservatively influenced state government here in Utah will never even consider the idea of medical bud.

thanks brother

I'd be going in spring 2014 so the timing is fine, I was just not sure if you could like walk into a clinic as a 21 year old non-resident and nail out some dabberz

Don't listen to this guy, it is illegal to smoke in public but it will be legal to buy weed from dispensaries once they start opening.

I hear there are about 100 dispensaries planning on opening in January 2014, I'm not sure if there will be any in Breck or not by March/April. The process is crazy strict and federal banks are hesitant to give loans out to potential dispensaries so it'll be a slow growing process its not like there will be a dispensary on every corner next year.

Medical dispensaries. That is completely different. Very few of the medical dispensaries will set up shops for the general public because it just isn't that easy of a process to go through.

Im pretty sure you wont have to be a co resident to go to recreational pot shops in jan 2014. I look forward to watch wallisch fuck bitches while im watching sochi at home, injecting copious marawanas

your not going to have a problem getting bud. If you came to PC we could chill but I guess your too cool for us illegal pot smokers out here. Breck and Key though for weed smoke and park rats then to Vail for expensive shit (go to buzzes boards) an empty perfect park and lots of cougars.

not so expensive PC options: Devanzas, oshucks (for drinking), the eating establishment, and anything in the Redstone/Kimball Junction area.

yeah i got that buddy. just letting people know for future reference... its possible to come to park city and not spend thousands of dollars.
