i was diagnosed with a brain tumor type illness where i produce too much spinal fluid in my head making huuuuuuuuge headaches. ive had 2 fucking brain surgeries and gone through hell. finally, since im only 17, my mom let me try medical marijuana. she had to go into the clinic and get the card for me but ive been using marijuana since and cutting down my harsh narcotics which have been killing me slowly. the marijuana is working and is slowly curing me. just thought id share
 
shit like this makes me feel happy for you dude. marijuana is nowhere near as bad as some people make it out to be and hopefully not long until more people realize this.
 
Nice man, that is sick. I love hearing stories like this. There is no reason for people to be taking all these harmfull, damaging medications for pain relief. Cannabis has a lot of potential for helping cancer and scientists are trying to concentrate the cancer fighting components of the plant, so patients are able to get healthy medicinal extracts that don't get patients stoned.Get your parents to buy you a really nice bong or vape. Tell them you want the smoke to be as clean and smooth as possible since you don't want to cause harm to your lungs.
 
Yeah, big deal. I take it you haven't tried to quit yet? My cousin(he's in highschool now) tried to quit to get a job and started shooting heroin within a few weeks.
 
not at all. but yeah its good healing stuff. im basically taking it all day long via doctors orders and im doing better in school and feeling better and my head is stabilizing
 
i'd load up on as many scripts of heavy opiates that you can....and then turn around and sell them. that shit fetches a pretty fucking penny. you could make BANK.
 
Good to hear man, I support that fully, so much better for you than pain killers, I've heard it really makes a difference in the pain in Cancer treatment.
 
Nothing wrong with pot but it does make you lazy.

Even though it has healing powers most of this forum is like 13-14 and probably doesn't need to be encouraged to be smoking more pot than they're already gonna.

well honestly i do everything but my mom only thinks i do edibles, pills, oils, and smoke pure like wax shit(way better high then weed) out of a vape pen. actual bud was to smelly since we have to hide it from my sister and our friends since im not of legal age yet. but i still get and smoke actual tree with my homies all the time and i have nothing to worry about if i get caught=))

nah there was a poll about 2 years ago and the average was 17, it's prolly the same or even higher now.

 
diagnosed february last year. surgery like 3 months later and then another like 2 or 3 from that. the only thing im scarred of is becoming a hardcore druggy cus im doing pot everyday

Well it looks like you are skiing just fine even after that ACL injury, so at least it's not beating you down too hard in that category. Skiing makes everything better.
 
My 22 year old brother was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer just about a year ago. When he was diagnosed with it he was told he had about 6 months to live. He has beat those odds and is now living a lot better than he did. He is not able to eat, move, drink, or even sleep without medical weed. I strongly believe that without it he would be in to much pain to even live.

many people are beginning to see that there are infact cancer curing properties in marijuana. plus like you said, whats worse opiates or weed? def opiates.people who think weed is bad but take opiates bc the "doctor" tells them to are walking a very tight rope, long term perscription to pain meds is a death sentence. glad to see your mom is progressive enough to think outside the box! keep fightin bro
