When did Bob Saget get elected governor?

yeah i think malloy is going to get it decriminalized, because hes pretty good at getting stuff done. but thats still not enough, but a step in the right direction

in my experience decriminalization does not change the social reaction to weed in any way at all. just because the penalties are changed means that people see it in a different light, it will still be stigmatized in most public situations, regardless of what state you find yourself in.

last time this bill came around it was passed but then vetoed by the old governor. With malloy in office, who is pushing the law, I think it will be passed

because it shouldnt only be for people with medical problems. it should be treated exactly like alcohol - regulated, controlled, and available to everyone. i personally think that alcohol should almost switch places with weed, or at least have its use moderated.

Decriminalization is fucking retarded. People think it's a step toward legalization but It really seems more like another barrier. Fucking legalize it already, there isn't a good reason not to(without getting into special interests) Making it decriminalized is saying we know you're going to break the law but we're going to lower the penalties so it isn't as bad.

Seriously fuck this decrim shit, and fuck any ignorant douche who thinks they have a good argument for drugs, especially marijuana remaining illegal.

ya decriminalization sucks i live in ma but like ive gotten caught and they take it and you get a fine and if your under 18 you have to go to court.. but hey its better havin a fine than a felony

no one has studied the FULL economic impact of legalization. If it is taxed, then yes, money will go to the state to help ease its financial burden. BUT that money has to come from somewhere. because growers will have to sell at a lower price, the municipal areas around the grower will have less money flowing in. Legalization will completely alter the economic dynamics of many poorer areas.

I see legalization as a way for the government to regulate another part of my life. If it is decriminalized, then they are saying, keep it on the DL and you wont have the DEA up your ass.

I just dont think that legalization will bring about the rainbows and sunshine that many folks think.

When MMJ was legalized in Colorado it was pretty cool, the prices dropped to super cheap. Hope you guys get the same, or better. The government screwed themselves though, they should have either left it illegal or just legalized it fully.

obviously my reading comprehension skills have begun to deteriorate, and because of this i sounded like an idiot.

And mr. fetuskiller, what about that particular argument is ignorant?

Legalization would be nice if only the laws weren't really weird and stupid, like $100 dollars tax/1% of THC an ounce, like massachusetts had in its legalization proposal. Or if you can go to the Gas station and get a pack of pre-rolled joints that seems weird to me. Otherwise Decriminalization with under an ounce is fine by me

Of course it will pass. I'm located in MA also and it was one of the first questions on the last poll for my city. I also read an article about the officials in Boston and their opinions on it. And they said that most of the people holding the power in the area are all the for the idea of medical marijuana.
