i buy big bags all the time. the smallest i get is a half and thats about 150. so if i buy that and smoke it in a week, then get another without slingin any of it, shit, ive spent somewhere in the thousands over the last 4 years.

thats fucked up to think about

 
lol you pay 150 for a half ounce. damn son ur gettin ripped the fuck off. i usually pay 70 for a half of some high mids and 120 for half ounce of some dank. Where you live anyway
 
there's no way you're paying those prices in the states unless you have the most legit hookup ever. i live in the bay area (w/in an hour of where most of your weed is grown) and i don't even get prices like that. maybe if i'm lucky i'd get 120 for some dank but that's rare.

but my friends dad on the other hand, well when i talk to him its either about girls, drugs, or skiing. he said in his lifetime hes spent close to a million. hes 46 i think, and has been smoking since he was 14.
 
Of course it does, and there's much much more supply and probably more demand in California. That would make prices cheaper compared to a place like Ohio which isn't coastal, doesn't have nearly as good of growing conditions, and probably get's their shipments from California and/or Canada anyways, thus, jacking up the prices. Plus, I have friends that live in Ohio that i know for a fact pay more than that. So unless he has the most legit, luckiest hookup ever, he's exadurating. Why? I have no idea. That's for him to justify.
 
very true, but its not all outdoor. there are plenty of large scale indoor operations where the environment is controlled to the tenth on a pH. i would be very impressed if anywhere east of the mississippi could regularly bring in cali/oregon/BC weeds. in the grasscity.com forums there are arguments on the daily over local prices. some people are just more fortunate to live around an area that produces alot of bud not necessarily just coastal regions, knowing the right people would definitely help too. i agree with what you are saying though, dont get me wrong.
 
70 for a half o of high mids? im calling bullshit. I believe 120 but thats probably the cheapest i have seen of high mids. Unless your definition of high mids is different than mine meaning you dont have california weed. Or unless you know a grower personally than i would believe that. I can get a half O for 50 bucks at the cannabis club but thats shake or even low grade nugs.
 
I invest the money I make over the summer in lots and lots of weed. I get good prices when I buy in bulk and then I can sell untill I've gotten all my money back and often more, and I have lots of "free" weed to smoke. it's usually enough so that my friends can smoke as well. haha, I think none of my 10 closest friends have paid to get high the last two years
now I'm all out though, but a friend has done the same thing recently so I just mooch of him which is okay because that's what he's been doing all year.
bottom line, you don't have to pay for weed if you're ready to invest. no need to spend money you can actally make some. but then again I live in a small town in northern norway and there is no "gangsta" crew running the drug buseniss, just normal people looking to make some extra moeny, so except for cops it's not risky at all . I dunno how it is in bigger towns
 
i dont even smoke anymore but it was wayyy to much when i did, it was about a zip and a half a month all through hs and start of college. Im doing a research paper on it right now and i found an interesting stat. Bud pound for pound is worth more then silver and untill recently gold...think about that one
 
Some dude in Burlington claimed to have it recently, not saying he did, people say they have strains they don't all the time to push it faster, but he seemed legit.

Anyways, I've lost far too much money on weed... it's kinda scary, I'd have so much more money. I'm gonna start pushing so I can smoke for free though, so hopefully that number won't climb too much higher. Heh. Higher.
 
well, in 6 months I made a total of $5000. I have 975 left of that. im saying 750 went tot clothing and longboards, 500 for food, 750 for booze, then the rest just makes me cry. fuck I hate drinking and smoking I really gotta start growing and brewing.
 
oh, you're right. for some reason i didn't even think of indoor. i've actually heard there's a pretty big indoor scene in ohio.

I usually smoke in groups, depending on what time of day im smoking. but we usually all chip in. But I'm a ski instructer so I'm going to start workin again Probably starting this weekend, and i'll Probably be buying a 40 bag every other week for myself, plus whatever i spend with the groups, and i need a peice. And I'M MAKING BROWNIES! YAY lol

buy anywho, im a noob. so u guys can make fun of me :D
 
i wouldn't say i've spent much more than 100 on it, but if you ask me about alcohol we'll get into the 1,000s. god what a waste haha
