Please visit www.standstrongagain.org to make a donation to help Marc-Andre out with some of the financial challenges he will soon be facing.

This is the foundation started by 4FRNT when Laars Veen was injured and it is there to help action sports athletes like us to somehow make life a little easier when we are faced with these kinds of challenges.

My guess is that any amount would be appreciated by Marc-Andre and his family...it asks for a $5 minimum contribution...but it will add up. Marc-Andre has so much to think about right now and I can't help but feel that helping to easing his financial burden will certainly help him!

i'm not one for the sticky threads, but I think this is pretty much the most deserving one yet.

everyone should do what they can to help him out

if everyone donates only $10 it will still help him and his family out greatly. Do what you can and if you are 13 and don't have a credit card please ask your parents, I'm sure they'll support a charity cause like this

This is some devastating news...for me as I'm sure it is for everybody. Do what you can to help out a really great guy at the hardest time in his life.

yup im sendin 25 tomorrow..

and you can send it by mail with cash if you dont have a credit card or anything

such a worhty cause...

ill be sending in some money for sure when i get home...people this good dont deserve stuff this bad to happen

Ohhh crap. I just watched his bio on Tangerine Dream, its sooooo sad to look back on now. Hang in there Marc.

If you haven't seen it, he says "I want to be skiing for a long time still... I hope people can remember me as a great skier."

i went down and visited him on thursday, hes super positive, but you can tell his natural good vibe is overshaddowed. Everyone send MA some positive energy...it has been a bad season for injuries and...lets all be a lot safer in the future.

We dont need anymore injuries.

Stay strong and get well soon bro.

Ive already met him @ stonhham, his home mountain I think!

some of my friend know him and regret that this happens to him, cuz he's such an awesome guy!!

already donated!

do it toh!!

Yeah guys, this guy has been a pioneer of this sport, especially in urban assault and backcountry skiing.

I would love to donate but I'M in the negative so I can't! I hope marc-andré will keep his joy of life cause he's a wonderfull guy, when I talked to him in montreal he was such a fun and nice guy to talk to.

"I hope marc-andré will keep his joy of life"

check it out... he'll be the first to developp freeski in sit-skiing!

hey he still got all his skill! his brain didnt get touch! so who knows!!

I'm pretty sure he got home from the hospital last week, at least for a few days because there were a ton of cars at his house

that is a great idea! There are sticker company's out there that might donate the stickers since it is for a cause!

that...4600 + 1500? + 600...whatever jon tj and sammy are niced duds and that should help out with some payments.

not to mention a new psp to rock out.

^ plus the $15000 he won for the back nine...pretty good weekend...probably the highlight of the weekend was jon tj and sammy donating it infront of 10,000 people...

I have spent the past 2 weeks with Marc in the hospital and his spirts are very high. He has had some visits from people in a similar sitaution that were very inspiring for him. It looks like he will be leaving the hospital at the end of the week and will be heading back to Quebec for the summer. He is already stoked on the prospect of a sit ski and has talked about shredding powder in utah next winter. Stickers and T-shirts are on the way to help raise more money and will be available through www.standstrongagain.org We will keep you all posted on that. Everything associated with this injury is expensive and we arent even close to what we need to get his life back on track. Besides all of the other expenses he has, a good sit ski costs over $10,000. So to everyone who has contributed so far thank you but we still need much more.

Alex O'Brien.

im definitely getting a shirt..

and

thats so awesome that he's so optimistic

keep it up, we're all praying for ya

best wishes with the recovery
