i was sitting at home, during Halloween night, i was handing out some candy, a marc andre belliveau song come on while i was playing my ipod on some speakers, i really realized how much i respect the guy. i mean come on, how many people have gone from a pro skier and a good guitar player to breaking their back and still continue to ski as a paraplegic and still rock out. i really have a lot of respect for the guy. he still is a far better skier than me i just think he is an inspiration. any other input?
 
agreed 100%. what an inspiration. what a role model. thats the kind of dude kids should try to be like in skiing, rather than pseudo gangsters like mik d (shiest d wtf??)
 
I will never get tired of Marc-Andre respect threads.

The man kills it in every single aspect of life.
 
I have to agree 100%. MAB is the shit and always will be. And his music is fuckin awesome as well
 
there are a lot of skier that i have respect for but marc andre belliveau seriously hurt himself skiing. if i did that, there would be a chance that hate skiing and would want nothing to do with it. however, he manned up and starting skiing as a paraplegic and is likely an inspiration to other paraplegic as well as us
 
His music and skiing is soo inspiring. Whenever I'm in a rough mood or something it's never a bad thing to play a couple of his songs.
 
what's the song they play in the stand strong again ads? the guitar..that's one of his i take it? i love it. such an inspiring story..he deserves so much respect.
 
yah man so true. I mean if you brock your back it would be pretty hard to get back into skiing as paralegic skier. That guy is the perfect example of not giving up.
 
his seg in anomaly was sick along with the fact that his seg was his song which is super good the guy is so awesome
 
I just put up the poster of him from freeskier up in my dorm by my door so that I can remember his story every time I walk out of the room and be inspired.

There was a poster of him in FREESKIER in a sit ski(is that whatt they are called?) ripping in the pow. Such an inspiration.

btw, his band is going to be around the New England area next week. I know he'll be in Boston, NYC and Northampton. If you go to his show and are of the first 500 there, you'll get a free pass to mt. snow
 
im sorry i don't even know what mt snow is. i hear the name on here all the time but i don't know what or where it is. i would take a guess as that it is a mountain. (that was a joke)

i had so much respect for him before his accident.

he was kinda underrated i thought.

after his accident he is still destroying jumps.

such a talented person.

 
Damn he's gotten way better since when he was at High North. Marc-Andre is going to revolutionize the sit-ski you guys just watch.

holy shit that dutch guy goes pretty big on the park jumps! amazing how some people react to setbacks in their lives...
 
i'm pretty sure i saw him at snowbird today riding the pipe and hitting the jumps in the park...did anyone else see him?
 
i dont get it... was he supposed to stop playing guitar because he broke his back? i mean yeah the skiing is really baller but just because he cant do some of the things he used to, don't expect him to be dead on the inside. man is stoked on life and nothings going to change that and i envy that. way it should be, not a big deal.
