so what actually happened to Marc-Andre Belliveau ive heard so many things i heard he broke his bad in an avalanche and more stuff like that
 
^did it just says how people are going to visit him it doesnt say what happened to him and like t shirts for sale
 
he was such an underrated skier. i say was because from what ive heard, hes permanently paralyzed from the waist down. however, i seriously hope im wrong on the permanent part. id love to see his make a recovery and be out skiing again. someone needs to shed some serious light on the situation, because i want to know if he can ski again.

and on that note, lars veen...whats his deal? permanent, or possible to recover to some extent. they both killed it so hard, and i got serious hopes for both of em.
 
im actually with this kid on this one, i still dont know what happend, i havent looked very hard though either.
 
marc-andre is paralyzed from the waist down because of an accident while shooting with TGR.

I never like to say paralyzed "permanantely" because we never know if there will be a treatment available in 10-15 years from now to cure spinal cord diseases, but yeah, right now, he's permanentely paralyzed.

he was a super chill guy and this was and is a huge tradgety
 
marc andre is such an inspiration. How he is handling his recovery has made me seriously think about why i ever complain
 
he wasn't filming, he was just skiing some "really technical" line in interior British Columbia, a little while after competing in the back 9, he ragdolled into some rocks and is paralyzed from teh waist down, go to standstrongagain.com
 
i heard he hit a pile of little rocks, then he started tomahawkin into bigger rocks and then he got paralized.

 
Marc-Andre is one of the most chill / stong / happy people i have ever met. His music is amazing as well and everybody should support him. I can only pray for him at this point.

While he was straight-lining out of a chute, he hit some rocks, and tumbled into some more rocks. And yes, i guess right now he in perminatly paralyzed. When i heard this i was in shock. for this to happen to someone who was leading the skiing community is just terrible.
 
Marc Was skiing a line in BC and was filming for TGR, the story i was told was that he set up on a peak the light was kinda shitty, Tgr Wanted the shot mark felt a little pressures so he droped in half way through his line he clipped a rock started a small slough got caught in it and fell through a chute and then over a cliff ban and some other rocks, this is what I heard so i think its at least to an extent what happened, Marc Was a nice guy I got to ski and hang out with him during the 2001 Heli challenge in Nz he was an amazing skier and a chilled guy. He was honestly one of the top 5 all round skiers in teh world, its too mad his tgr segmant last year should have won Rider of the year, but yeh its soo sad this happened to him, hes an amazing person, an amazing skier and an amazing guitar player and singer, every one should check out his band..
 
no your thinking of teddy, who died while shooting the back 9. he died of something to do with his heart condition.
