Definitley not as big as Blackcomb, but close to as good. They have 3 big tables (big and small sides) along with dope rail (most of which are bigger than the ones at blackcomb) They have a wallride, massive double kink and flat down, uphill rail with a steep landing, butterfly rail (two c rails that meet in the middle so you can hit it like a c to either side or an s) a couple up flat downs, a pretty big rainbow, 40 foot flat bar, down flat down, and a bunch of other stuff i cant remember.

yeah, nevermind the 30ft battleship box or the flat down flat box, plus it has a mini park *lol*, for the people learning to grind/jump/do boxes etc. it's awesome

I was there this weekend... the park is horrid.

You want reasons?

The jumps for the tables are flat as can be. Sure, they're stepdowns, but you need some kick on a table.

The boxes are built crooked and as pieces of shit. I saw some skier try a box, and have the plastic topsheet catch on his skis, and bend with him up the box. The boxes aren't flat, you come off very very very easily.

The jumps to the rails are very flat, and ride on. But the lip of the jump is higher than the rail itself.

But the uphill rail is very very fun. They have so many good features, but need to fix how they are set up.

The jump ons for the rails are good, you just dont know how to jump. (like jump off a jump... with your legs.) The tables are perfect for switch hits and only pansies do the boxes.

we're hitting up manning on the Jib Culture movie tour. watch out! haha

Clearly you do not know what a proper lip onto a rail should be like.

A flat cheese wedge that is higher than the rail itself is not a good jump. You may be able to slide the rail, I'm not questioning your ability, but the rails need to be fixed.

manning has always had the problem with their park being tuned wrong. the jumps and landings to the rails has always blown ass. props must go out to Kye though for getting so much shit out there. last year they only had 5 rails or so. the boxes are a bit off but some of them could be fuckin balsy.

the huge flat down flat rail and the butterfly rails r my faves but ya there nothing is set up very good there

Pretty much everything you guys refer to above has been fixed up other than some flow problems. We have been sucking it lately due to the weather and lack of some of the resources required. I hate to make excuses but trust me I will learn from this and it will be better than ever next season. We did drop the ball somewhat on the changes mid season and I will agree the flow and what not is nowhere as good as it was in the first half.

was at Manning yesterday and it's definitely pretty sick....lots of good rails, flow could've been better, but sometimes stuff just doesn't work out when you try and make it better (and they are only open 3days a week, so it's hard to fix things)...definitely worth a day or two of skiing

It's a couple hours from Vancouver. I you hit it on a day when it's dumping it can be one of the best powder days you've had in a long long time.

it doesnt dump at manning. they consider a big snowfall 20 cm. and when you have 20cm on top of 70cm base it just hides rocks. snows light though. there arent many steeps at all

ya its kinda a crappy hill so if your going expect to stay in the park the whole time. but its still worth it cuz some of that stuff is sick

ya, manning's park is pretty solid, and they usually make the one table at the bottom pretty big, but, manning as a mtn is a piece of shit. i called it home for all of my growing up years in chilliwack, once i went to ubc and got the whistler pass....ahh.. you can't compare. it is not even worth it to pay to ski manning unless you like to sit in the park, then it is good. i went once last year at christmas, and it was horrid. don't buy tickets, they never check. they is just no terrain, i went touring and got a few turns. there is big potential in the surrounding mtns but not enough money and people.
