ok, i finally figured out what was fucking everything up. so here goes.

-Mankato Jib Fest. Oct 21st.

-Open to the public: Free open sessions from 2-5pm and 6-9 pm.

(-helmet and waiver required under 18 parent signature)

-Jam format competition from 5-6 pm

-$10 entry fee for comp

-Open to skiers and snowboarders

-prizes awarded

-REAL SNOW

-LIVE BANDS

-MULTIPLE JIBS

WAIVER: if you are under 18, you will need a waiver signed by a parent or

guardian. you can have the waiver signed before-hand, just email Dan Hansen

DIRECTIONS: -From the Twin Cities, take hwy 169 south all the way past St.

Peter

-10 or so miles past St. Peter, keep your eyes peeled for Hwy 14 and take it

east

-Go 2-3 miles and exit for the River Hills Mall (co. Rd 3) and take a right

at the end of the exit

-Go less than a mile and you will see the event on your left hand side on

the corner of holly lane and madison Ave.

There's all the details about it. forum/specialblend/foursquare/r edbull/ect

will be there with prizes. the event is mainly a fundraiser for the ski and

snowboard club here.

We hope you guys can make it out and check it out.

I was impressed. I think more skiers came than snowboarders because in the competition there were three heats of skiers and only two of snowboarders. Only bad part was the 30 minute wait in line every hit.
 
yeah, in the comp there were around 30 skiers, 20 boarders, and 5 girls.

thanks to everyone who came. i hope you had a great time. what did everyone think?
 
matt halverson (sp?) won for skiers. he's a little guy, like 13 or 14 or 15, i cant remember

i'll post up all the results in a hour or so
 
Yeah Matt Halverson won, He is my little brother. Does any one have video of the finals. Our camera battery died before he did his winning trick
