Im lookin at a new tripod for my HV40, Ive tried the 128 heads and love the feel but im worried this tripod could be too bulky on the mountain. Anyone have any experience with it?

I have the same setup with the 701HDV head. the legs honestly don't feel very bulky at all, and the quality of them is simply amazing. the setup is quite light, but still has enough weight to feel like a substantial piece of equipment that you won't break. I have no trouble strapping this tripod to the back of my heli pro, and when you set it up, its very fast and simple.

if you have anymore questions, feel free to ask,

thanks, thats very helpful. the only other thing i dont like about he legs is they dont have a bubble level, is that ever a problem when setting up on uneven terrain?

I tried a 128LP at my school, real nice buttery smooth pans. Im lookin at the 128RC, i think its the same thing with a quick release plate which is a must for me.
