Manfrotto fluid heads

Been using a 701hdv all season, going to upgrade to a 501hdv or 503hdv. Does anyone own one of these or knows any big differences other than the price?

Look around for the old 501 or 503 used. The new 501 and 503 heads are crappy, old version is the way to go.

Maybe upgrade to something bigger and better than a 501/503........... I doubt you'll see much of an improvement, maybe some.
