He just called me and bitched me out for an hour saying that i'm being a bad example seeing that i'm the captain of the team all because I missed one workout.

yeah that's why i quit sports. shit like that, but my advice to you is focus on why you're really there. i missed a lot of good moments by lettign that little shit get to me. i wish i would'v kept playing that stuff throughout high school all the time. oh well....only live once.

i quit after 5 years after my freshman year, i dont miss playing the game really, i just miss chillin with the team sometimes and thats about it.

ahhh i think you shoulda kept playin seeing how your 409752q09347590823745 feet tall

but oh well, we gotta ride together like every day this season

that's why I don't do school sports. the coaches are fucking assholes. seriously, fuck every highschool coach. they think it's the only think that matters.

i hate team sports

they always have to rely on everyone and then when you skip a game/practice to go skiing or something they freak on you. so i just straight up quit all team sports. and one time i bitched out our schools baseball coach cuz he wouldnt let a kid play for 2 games cuz he skipped school/practice to come skiing on what was his last day of the season.

yeah yesterday my coach jsut told us she quit. so now we have no coach and practices start in a week. we have a week to get a coach and noone knows whats goign on

If a guy makes a commitment to a team, he should keep that commitment. If he isn't going to be fully committed, he shouldn't be on the team in the first place. Also, you just have to find a good balance. I run track in college, and we compete in the winter, but I still find time to get out on the slope. I don't get out as much if i wasn't running, but like i said there has to be a balance. If you aren't into the sport, definitely quit cause its not worth the effort.

lets stand around waiting for someone to hit a ball to us...maybe

and then run in a tiny ciricle making sometimes up to 3 stops!

thats if we get the pitch we want

i just dont see the excitment in that

I'd say quit the team and try and start up intramural leagues at your school. Even if its just flag football. You get all the fun of playing and being part of a team without the massive commitments.

you guys just seem to have horrible dick coaches. my soccer coach is ballin. he doesn't care what we do as long as we're good. every year when we make it to semi-state he takes us up to his parents huuuge house and we have a fuckin party.

I never go to practice...i was on this one soccer team once for...4 months before i quit...i went to 2 and a half practices total and the coach didnt care and i still played all the games. I'm actually skipping practice right now, now that i think about it.

i got benched my senior year because i went and built a school in nicaragua, and missed a week, something i had told him about. well technically i got benched cause i played like shit 2 days after i got back, but i was not in great health and hadn't picked up my stick for 2 weeks. he was also pissed cause i wasn't scoring 40 goals like my junior year.

I have the whole summer this year because im not playing football = ]

But football seriously takes so much work. Last year i started going to agilitys and wide reciever practices in the winter and all through the summer. Then payed 70 dollars of MY money to go to camp. Then TRIPLE SESSIONS for two weeks. And the first game i dropped two passes and didnt play much ever again. So long story short I wasted almost a year on football for what??? Absoulutly nothing, such a waste of time.

i love school sports, especially if your school is actually really good at the sport. My coach for our school soccer isnt a dick and actually knows what he's doing unlike many high school coaches, we also have a constant flow of good players as well coming every year so winning is part of the fun.

My competitive soccer though is what I fucking hate, theres so much politics and shit its ruins everything. The only reason i stay in it is to play school soccer and be good enough for that as well as the players and the team are so fun to chill with as well. And our coach takes us on an anual ski trip.

haha the captains for my team never show up for the captains practices, if were lucky we'll get one of the four to show up

same thing here I quit after grade 9. It got boring doing the same thing over and over again and having to put up with everyone and their mom who thinks their the shit at basketball. Started to reminde me of skateboarding in grade 7

yea it really does, im not playing this years because all of those fucking double sessions and all the shit we have to do in practice. last year it was my first year playing on jv and i went to every double session and practice and for doing that i didnt play in any of the games. just sat on the fucking sideline
