iv'e ski'ed 13 times this season.iv'e been at me resort pretty much all the days it's been opean. and today my edge on my ski fell out,"there brand new". i saved all summer for those ski's. i dont have a job i get alowence, i didnt spend any money all summer.but i think i can get the warrented.I was progressing so much in those 13 days. before this season i couldent get to the end of rail now i can do switch up's. 270's on butter 270. i was afraid to hit a jump at the begining of the season. and now i'm doning 5's i was planing on trying corks later this week. but now i have to stop that progression for a month.

I was talking to somone who told me that just normal newschool riding on line ski's destroyed them in 2 - 3 weeks.

But fight for them to be warenteed.

If they are anythign like Rossi, as in a good company who cares about their coustomers, then they will warentee them. I had a pair of rossi bindings that were brokend when a snowboarder ran them over, and some polite pleads went a long way. they didnt have to give me shit all, but they gave me new bindings. I hope Line does the same for you.

rossi kicks ass when it comes to replacing stuff. i bought a pair of used scratch 140s last season from a guy who failed to tell me that the DIN indicator (the markers telling you "5" or "8" or whatever) was missing on one of the heel pieces - it was completely gone, so i had no clue what my DIN was set at. sent them in to rossi, a month later i got brand new bindings in the mail (by that time i had gotten another pair and mounted them, so i sold the scratch 140s to JDMay, but that's besides the point).

rossi's fucking awesome in my book.

i really like LINE a lot, last years EP pros were the ski of the year in my opinion...but it really seems like they could have built the invaders better. oh well, thats what you get for buying such a cheap ski.

just ski them you pussy....my edge on my armadas ripped out of both of the tips and one of the tails last year mid season and i skied em

i wouldnt buy a ski that hasnt gotten good feedback, everyone was expecting invaders to be wicked sick and now their falling apart. meanwhile im on year 3 on my scratches

line skies r definatley not ceaply made and easy to break...i had mavericks for 2 years and im on my second year with motherships

no but invaders are cheap, made to be cheap so may not be as quality as some of lines other skis.

damn. i was gunna get some invaders this week. what bout the chronics? they are like 650 here. i dunno if ima get them though.

how much of the edge fell out? my friend rode today with no edge on one ski and it was fine haha. bit sketchy but it works

it just started to come out on the tip it didnt afect how the ski preformed at all. i just figured it would slowly make it's way down the ski and then line would say they wouldent cover the warrenty because i road them with a fucked up edge or something.

Ok, get a dremel, cut off just a little bit of the dangly edge so you get a square patch, then use the dremel with a grinder attachment and file down the edge until it's rounded. BAM no more problem. This works for small missing sections, bigger ones and you're fucked. Talk to the Line guys, they seem to be really good about warrantys.

And buy Chronics. I've got last years white ones...... BOMBPROOF. And I've had scratches in the bases that damn well should have been core shots.... not be coreshots. I love those skis.

I put a huge dent in the edges. I hope mine don't fall apart.

Have you been to afton lately?

Caus I have seen 2 kids on invaders not includeing me.

that does kinda suck, and i think theyd warranty it. but the one thing i say is, if you are gonna buy invaders, i wouldnt expect the best.

Make sure to get some demo skis from the rep while you are getting your skis waranteed. I'm sure they will be understanding enough and will hook you up.
