man where ever i am on a hill or at school people allways try to make fun of me cause i ski. and they say they snowboard but cant get down the bunny hill . the best part is my best friend boards and he tells them to go to hell now thats a friend

no because where I live snowboarders and skiers tend to live harmoniously and give each other props on a regular basis. We also are fluent in each others languange and can mingle with even the smoothest of talkers. The trick is to respect each sport and to be able to awe it for its greatness. Even though skiing is obviously better, just keep that in your head.

yeah, i have been dissed by them. some of them think there better than everyone else on the hill. but i do ride with alot of boaders and they are super cool guys.

Ya.. i agree with switchstyle... i ride with both.... i couldnt imagine it being all skiers or all boarders.. i dont think it'd be as fun actually... if they make fun of u 4 what ur doing find some new ppl to ride with.. theyre gay

I live in Massachusetts the gay state (no mountians, ski stores, and in my town skiers in general). So i ride wiht the one other kid who twin tips and everyone else boards. Boarders are pretty cool unless they do the following.

1) say shit when you ride fakie

2) Act black

3) Try to act cool when the have world industries board

But lets not forget some boarders are gay but almost all slamom kids are gay

 
my boarder friends go on with the skier insults but its mainly envy cause I'm spinning 540s and getting praise while they're struggling with the straght air grabs.

^'cool snowboarders' are right, most of them try and be badass and say how boarding is better than skiing. With the exception of those few kids, most people don't care.

I don't really get made fun of but when i ski with my board friends i can sense they think i'm a fag for skiing. Not to worried about it though.

some people i know do that too, and they snow board and then i ask them what they can do on a snow board the usual answer is i can carve... and i tell them i can carv on a snowboard too, plus lots of other thing, and i'm a skier, then they usually ask what i can do on a boar then the converation usually trails off subject.

thats one of the good things about living at a 'big mountain' resort, we dont really get any mtv type people, everybody is just out to have a good time, even the snowbladers dont really get heckled.. a few laughs maybe.

i go to a school which has a 'tradition' of good hockey, so all the kids that play hockey at my school think they are god. Whenever i get in an argunemt with any of them the only thing they can think of to say is oh you ski> WOW sweet come back, eh!

I'd rather be skiing
