Man breaks record with .49 on Breathalyzer

hahaha epic... lame that he was driving though other wise he would have been the man. atleast the job he got fired from sucked. kitchen worker.
 
dude i heard that on the news and i was like....wait did she say .49 or was that some sort of different BAC scale. jesus fucking christ. my brother has a breathalizer and the highest ive gotten is .27 i saw one kid break .30, hes a legitimate alcoholic though...sad really but yeah. anyone that hits above a .28 or so on that thing doesnt remember it in the morning, i cant believe he could even get to his car...
 
My friend has a breathalizer and someone blew a .19 and they were completely smashed. Highest I got that night was .08 and I drank just as much as anyone which is weird considering I weigh 150.
 
hahah really? im totally not claiming or being a fag but at a .19 im drunk for sure but im not like puke drunk or blackout by any means, most people arent...
 
how the fuck was he alive. much less conscious or able to even get behind the wheel of a car, or drive it, or start it, or find the pedal. shit how did he even open the door.
 
alcoholism. these type of people practice drunkenness like they are training for the olympics. their bodies begin to function at what would make us stop breathing haha.
 
the fact that he blew a .49 on a breathalizer makes him the man. The fact that he was driving makes him less than an unmatured fetus
 
my view of breathalizers changed after one of my friends (cop) pulled out his breathalizer at a party last month. we were all giving it a shot and half the time it would either not register or give a whack reading. my first shot it came out as like .24 or something insane. tried again and got a more accurate reading just above .1. but shit, what if something like that happened after you have like 2 beers and get pulled over? not cool...
 
yeahhhh i don't think .45 is or was any kind of record. it may be when you're considered legally dead or whatever but i've heard stories of people with way higher BAC i'm pretty sure. just yesterday i remember in one of those crazy police chase videos the girl had a .44 and they didn't even act like it was that serious lol
 
It's sad really. No one around here knows how to drink. They drink heavily in a short amount of time then it hits them and they can't function.
 
We were just discussing this and my housemate has had two relatives go over .5, so this is definitely not an absolute record.
 
immediately after you take a shot or drink a beer, the reading will be spiked a bit because of alcohol left in your mouth, you have to wait like 20 minutes after drinking. and one beer raises it approximately .02 an hour. so if you drink 4 beers in an hour, you're around .08 (based on average weight in males i believe). if you drink faster, it goes up more and if you drink more it obviously goes up more. i feel like if any of my friends got a breathalyzer we'd just make it into a competition and someone would get entirely too fucked up. ahha

wow thats fucking ridiculous, guy must drink like a tank to have that high a bac and even be able to sit in a car. I blew a .39 freshman year but i was completely blackout, puking all over myself and had to be carried to the hospital. I was soo confused in the morning and stayed drunk until about 7-8 the next night.
 
its not really that surprising but its still pretty insane. if this guy was an alcoholic for say 30 years it takes him really really reallylong to get smashed because his body builds up a resistance to alcohol.
 
maybe he just took a drink while he was driving or something. we did this at a party and if you had strong liqour still in your mouth you could get extremely high numbers.
 
this is so retarded. I dont see how this guy is badass for almost drinking to death. Its not even fun when you are that fucked up to the point where you cant put out words. Alcholism is a disease its not something to be proud of. If someone is drinking that much they shouldnt be commended they should try to be helped. And im not saying i dont like getting shit faced but people should know their limits.
 
wow, i was 30+ drinks deep on my 21st and i puked all over the bus passed out all over the place smashed my face on the ground alot, supermaned off the bus to my face, peed my pants 2x, 8 cops an ambulance and a fire truck came to the scene because someone called them and told them someone was going to die in the parking lot, and this guy could drive a car. i need practice.
