I am going to California around May 24 and I was wondering if it is worth it to go to Mammoth. Is there a lot of snow, what's the temperature usually like at base and on the highest peak, is it crowded,what are the hours of operation and how much of the mountain is open, and what is the snow like? Any other information anybody would like to ad feel free, for example, what are the girls like, hot I hope, if so how many?

Girls First of all are California girls.
A lot of hotties in california.
MAMMOTH QUESTIONS
1) there is a lot of snow it has been snowing on and off for the entire month almost. over 80 in in april alone still have a 5-8 foot base with great conditions.
By the time you get there only the main lodge side will be open. (if your looking at a map the right side.)
Temp ranges. Normal may day if the sun is out its going to be in the upper 40's- 50's.
Its actually pretty awesome and amazing skiing especially for ridding the park and pipe cus they keep the jumps and boxes and rails in good shape throughout the day by grooming it and salting the jumps throughtout the day. (the park staff is amazing there)
Tickets are cheaper
In short is it worth it definately. It has some of the best if not thee best spring skiing.

Never crowded on durring the week gets a little bussy on the weekends but that time of year dont worry about crowds there wont be any.

yes... there is no other place in the United States you want to be on May 24th. Especially if you like park. I went on memorial day last year which is right around may 24th... and it was sick... Plenty of snow. And it has been snowing tons lately too. THis is their 3rd biggest april since 1965. When i was there they had like 4 really perfect jumps with like 6 rails... That doesnt sound like alot but those 10 features where all way better quality than you have ever ridden all season... soft snow= new tricks... be there...
