Mammoth Update - New USC Ski Team Vid

Hey guys,
I know a lot of people are heading out to Mammoth soon so I figured I'd post this video as a little park update. This is freshman team member Matt Cook's promo for the season all filmed at Mammoth and June. Setup right now is about the same as the main park stuff in the video. Basically going off and spring is gonna be epic!!

So you guy's legitimately have a ski team? Geez Canadian university's need to get on that.

filming, editing, and skiing were all really sick but I didn't dig the song that much, I felt like the vocals clashed with the beat and didn't really belong there.
 
hah, yeah, as I said in the other post - this song was sort of an inside joke. Matt always jokingly asks for tik tok to be played while we're partying.
 
USC is 5-6 hour drive from Mammoth but we have a house up here for the team. 3 stories, super nice, walking distance from lifts/buses. Most people come up thursday nights and go back sundays. Easily get 60-80 days skiing a season, or me I got 110 last year while doing full time engineering.
 
Yeahh ,both of us have. We're moving on and passing the torch. I think he'll still be in Mammoth next season. I'll be in San Frannnnnnnn

haha thanks mate. Actually joining the GoPro production team among various other things out in San Fran, so I'm sure I'll still be filming, hopefully making frequent trips down to Mammoth and continue the tradition/push along the new blood.
 
there are a lot of factors and what not going into that statement 'best'. I know CUFST (boulder) has an amazing team, Idaho was also out at Nationals. Our team is super tight knit, we have made a decent name for ourselves and we get to ski mammoth any weekend. We are part of the local league and party with all of the other southern california schools, so it's a really good time. UCLA, LMU, UCSB, UCSD, etc etc etc. Imagine all of those kids in one place every weekend! So fun
 
Also, Matt Cook came to USC after seeing our videos last year. Pretty stoked on influences like that
 
WOW, I run the ski and snowboard club for the university of nebraska and people were in aww that I got like 45 days in colorado/jackson last season, I'm a construction engineer graduating in august too. But holy shit 110 is a fucking shit load of days dude!
 
yep not loving the song, LOVE the song from the february edit though

i've discovered that's a phenomenal workout song, especially for erging
