Mammoth Spring Park

It's no secret that Mammoth has a great park setup late season, but I'm wondering if there is a park setup from late May into June and what it is like. I know they usually have their large jump line up in early May, but I'm guessing it gets too warm and they put up smaller jumps?

For example, I think they had around average snowfall last season and they were open until the 4th of July. From instagram, I observed that their park was quite popular until mid-May, then it seemed like the park closed abruptly or degraded real quick. Obviously the park was shut down well before the 4th, but I'm wondering when.

Also, they offer a spring pass right? Obviously they aren't for sale right now because they're trying to sell full season passes.

Any sort of discount on individual tickets then?

Last time I was there in spring, late April/ May tickets were like 65ish and they took off like 10 or 15 if you had a pass from another mountain. You're best bet is to get a Mt Collective pass. 2 free days then 1/2 price. No cheap options really if you looking to ski for a month or so.

June 26 was the last day I was there last year, and they had one 30 foot step over and one flat tube (and a lovely private superpipe for S White). Usually at the very end of the season they still keep a 30-40 foot jump open, sometimes pretty high on the mountain, that you want to hit early in the day before it gets too warm and slow.

I was there the weekend before memorial day weekend and they still had their pipe open along with their big jumps. They also had a decent set up of features in the main unbound lane as well as a good set up in the forest park.

Spring to late spring in mammoth is a good time, but get ready to deal with some really windy days and crazy changes in the weather.

Thanks guys. You both covered the beginning/end of the period I might go, anybody know what it's like in between mid May and late June?
