Mammoth Opinions

Wassup homies!

Thinking about heading to Mammoth this winter. Any opinions/advise about it? I go to school in SoCal and I'm wondering if its worth the trip up
 
If you need someone to roll with hit me up, Im in LA and have the Cali pass so I'll be trying to hit mammoth at least once a month and then bear on the other weekends

Mammoth is the shit. I used to go there every year for Masters, but haven't been in a while.

I remember one year we got a spring dump of something like 12 inches and it was the best day ever.

You literally could ski a chute off the gondola, then a huge steep pow field and then straight into the park where you hit the best manicured features of all time.... all in one long run.

Highly back Mammoth.
 
i go to school in LA too and the drive can be a lot for a weekend but i you have a place to stay its only gas, food and a 300 college pass. The mountain itself is nice but I have only skied there this last year and the conditions were slushy. The park is always good and they stayed open untill late may despite the lack of snow.

Thinking about getting the Cali pass too..might be worth it. Hell ya lets link up fosho when winter comes around. Gonna try to get to Bear every weekend too

Sounds like the perfect day! Super stoked to go for the first time. Now if it could snow already, that would be great

I hear Bear is tight as fuck too... like a gigantic skate park. Really need to get out there.

That day was ridiculously perfect. It was like a slice of heaven.

The one catch about Mammoth though is that when it snows apparently (and that day was the same) because its so sunny it can get pretty heavy by the afternoon. Its literally sunny almost all the time.
