i like how he tried to dis you and fained, and then you gave him a good comeback that was better, but not too agressive, you are a nice person and i like you man!

It's not on the website, but they posted it on their facebook and twitter.
Also,
Student passes only $399 this year! Yay me for not buying an MVP! Except I could use one in about 3 years....
But yes, mammoth opens friday with free lift tickets.
I already have 7 confirmed guests sleeping at my house.

Fuck yes. Make some jumps Mammoth. Then CA will be able to claim the first jump. Might be going there within the next few weeks before Tioga closes. That is if Tioga opens back up :/

I work every saturday so it doesn't affect me; and if by chance I did have a saturday off, we have 2 shop passes I can check out or I can purchase lift tickets for $25.
Most of my friends buying the pass are also getting June passes which is only about 15 miles away from Mammoth and their student pass is only $125. So for $526 you can go every day, just have to go to June on some of those.
beats the $1700 full price pass though.....

yeah but it kind of screws kids who go to school in LA and live at mammoth every weekend and now are kind of shit out of luck compared to mvp price...

i guess there is an unrestricted college pass for like 850 allegedly

its gonna be 60 in the mountains friday i guess. super bummer D:

but it definitley snowed up there today, and yesterday. but snow level is like 8500 ft

As far as CO goes, no. Here in CA we are opening WAY earlier than last year. Pretty sure no one was open until November here in CA last year.

Not enough natural snow for it to be safe, most utah resorts also dont care enough to blow snow until they will make money.

Also, some resorts aren't on private land, so they have to wait for their lease with the forest to start.

Overall, its basically all about money, pc is really the only resort that could blow enough snow to open early, but they wouldn't profit from it and don't give a shit about locals. Also, it usually is barely even warm enough for pc to blow snow when they actually do open let alone in mid october, CO is much colder this time of year, hence they can blow snow and open.

Are you sure the college pass doesn't include the june pass too? They have never have Mammoth passes not valid at june...

Anyway I think they are putting them up tomorrow, so we'll all find out the real scoop and can start the phone calls to management.

Anyway, probs won't make it up until next weekend but have fun everyone!

im in uthah for now, tryig to get back to mammoth. I'll be bouncing back and forth all winter either way though. Missing opening day shits weak.

yo, opening day was gay as fuck. hour long lift line for chair one, set up was fun but hiking in 60+ degree weather is not.

Can't complain about lines if tickets are free. Should have stayed for today, I could count the amount of people there on both hands. I paid $30 to ride boreal's 4 inches of snow patch last weekend and you could also ski from the top which is unheard of for other resorts in october. Mammoth killed it.

hey, this is black eric.

but ya i guess so, but i mean if you have a pass a free ticket doesnt really matter.

sure it was a great day, crowds were just too much for my liking
