i am interested in moving out to mammoth next season to live and work at the mountain. i have read a little about their housing and jobs on their website but i was wondering if anyone can tell me if its a cool job working there or not. also does anyone know what their pay is like? thanks in advance to anyone who can give me any advice...

Polar opposites don't push away

It's the same on the weekends as the rest of the days

And I know I should go but I'll probably stay

And that's all you can do about some things

I'm trying to drink away the part of the day

That I cannot sleep away

Two one eyed dogs, they're looking at stereos

Hi-fi Gods try so hard to make their cars low to the ground

These vibrations oil its teeth

Primer gray is the color when you're done dying

Yeah housing is insanely tough to find at the beginning of the season. And a few jobs pay less than 8, like lodge hosts and ski hosts. Its def not worth the move unless you get a night job. Being back from the east i could ride everyday cause we had night skiing but upon moving out here i got a liftie spot and only rode 2 days a week. Luckily i switched over to cat crew and lucked out so i ride everyday ;)

thanks... i am gonna be flying out there this summer. do you think i'll be able to reserve housing then for the upcoming season? and do you think there would be any possible night job openings for next season? cat crew would kick ass. thanks again.

there is all kinds of night jobs, janitors, maintnence, cat driver and there is others to. although the cat jobs fill up quick. and you have to fill out an app adn have to have actually been hired to apply for emp housing, i think they ususally put up the stuff for new jobs on the net beginning of summer some time.

fuk that

there is a unbound job called 'unbound crew' or something like that. Thew maintain the jumps and rails throughout the day. but im not sure how much time they get to ride. i also talked to one of the snowboarders on the team and he said there are certain size jumps that they arent allowed to go off.

lets see, canyon lodge side is scheduled to close on the 27th of april and main will stay as long as they can (at least till may 2-4 cause of the orage masters)

i talked to a skier on the unbound crew and he said they get to ride a lot. Sounds like a great fuckin job, if you ask me. Probably doesn't pay for shit, but a night job is the way to go anyway. Good luck with the move!

for park crew you pretty much set up fences in the morning, ride park and rake jumps all day, and take down fences in the afternoon. chill job if you like to ski all day and keep the killer jumps in tip top shape.
