cerro coso is the name of the community college. something like $18 a unit and the teachers don't show up on pow days.. which is quite often.
it's not too hard to get a job on the mountain. keep checking the job section of mammothmountain.com and it'll let you know when they're posting the winter 06/07 jobs. apply as soon as possible. this is usually around august.
at night you can usually hear the music from a house party on most of the streets.
if you're a stoner, there is no better place for you to be.
there are absolutely no girls in mammoth, so don't go there expecting there to be. the good ones are taken, and the ugly ones think they're hot since everybody wants them. so cal tourist chicks come up with their boyfriends.
the town is expensive as fuck to live in. i paid $500 a month for a 6'x6' shithole in employee housing. best bet is to move with a few buddies, get a place and share a room. fuck, even top ramen is expensive.
