Mammoth in mid-May?

After finals a couple friends and I want to head to Mammoth, we were wondering what to expect for conditions and park set-up. Any info would be great.

Should still be good, especially this year. I know Mammoth sometimes makes it to June before closing up. Though I must admit the latest I've ever skied there personally is late April (park was still good then)

Considering the park will be in primo shape for Orage Masters May 7, I expect it to still be good a week later when you're there

 
back in 94 mammoth was open from top to mid station till august 15th

Park just gets bigger through May. The 100' platform wasn't built until like mid-April last year (if I remember right).

^ usually not...the latest one to stay open is usually kirkwood. i skied them in early may last season. with the new snow we just got, theyll prolly be open for a while

 
i just talked with some people at squaw and they said that they would be open until early june, and they said that kirkwood was going to stay open through the summer.

if i said it, it must be the truth!
 
Mammoth is rebuilding the park as we speak, its been the same for awhile, but stil sick, its been gettin slushy and soft by like 11...

 
um yes squaw and alpine always stay open later than kirkwood and make it to memorial day more often than not. kirkwood usually closes around first weekend in may, sometime opening for memorial day or 4th of july
