Mammoth in june?

is mammoth open in june like mid or late june and is it worth coming from michigan if we allready have a place to stay. and is the park open then and is it in good shape? and what else is open to ski around there in june?
 
Probably closing on Independance day...

They usually close then on a normal year.

Last year on the other hand, they were open untill July 23rd I think. After that it started to become unprofitable to stay open, but if they wanted to they could have.
 
Pretty much every year they stay open until at least memorial day (~June5), but past then there are no guarantees.
 
if it is open you should still go, i was up there june 4th and they only had one face open, but it was some really good skiing. still had two mighty fine kickers and two boxes up, and the most horrible half pipe you have seen. Still fun to hit up chair 13 i think? i forget, but its really steep up at the top and its really slushy so its really cool to see all this slush slough slide down the mountain.
 
You think you guys will still have some good snow in mid May??? From what I heard, didn't you guys get shit load of snow during orage masters???
 
way worth it ..i went last year late june...they had 2 tables up..both pretty small...like 25 and 35...and like 4 rails, and a pipe..but it was wayyy sick
