hey im thinking of going out to mammoth for a week or so in early may, like 1st or second week of may. whats the mountain like by then? is the whole park still set up? how much terrain is open? etc... im thinking of going there maybe for half the season next year, and i wanna get a good idea of what everything is like.is there any chance for some powder? i was there a week before closing last year and they had a day with maybe 10 inches of pow that was actually pretty good and light, but not much of the mountain was open. is that pretty rare that late in the season?
