anyone wanna join me to mammuf? leavin friday night and comin back sat night. i know it's short but sunday is mommy's day. got 3 open seats and a place to stay. leavin outta auburn and drivin through truckee/reno so i can pick up/drop off.
 
I thought there was no more skiing and only "legit mtn biking" thats what *THEDEANE* said, can anyone confirm this?????

yea sorry. i guess i thought it was funny that people thought they would be mountain biking at mammoth in may instead of skiing. *THEDEANE* isnt a tool, we have settled our differences outside the public forum.

i was down there this past weekend. hit up the park, which is VERY limited right now. Pipe is garbage, a couple of flat boxes and 1 50ft jump. When we left on Monday afternoon, there was dirt EVERYWHERE. Plus there were some TStorms rollin in. I bet they plowed the jump last night. And that was the only thing worth hitting. Doubt they'll make it to the weekend
 
someone told me they might put up a bunch of jibs for the last weekend.

i think i'm going to make it down for a day or two. last chance to ski for the season :(
 
FYI: Its difficult to poach right now, since most employees are done for the year it is mostly supervisor types running chairs except for the girls working Discovery chair...

I heard the same about more jibs for next weekend... its still $63 though
 
thats about the only reason I wont go down there. If it was even 20 bucks less I'd be down.. but 63 is just freaking ridiculuous.
 
It truely makes me sad that when Mammoth closes, the ski season in California will be officially over...

*sigh* pending an early start, we will probably have to wait another 7 months for snow... I'm depressed.
 
Well.. if next year is anything like last year, thats about the time we will start really getting some fluff.

Lets just hope for another 2004.
