Making twin tips

I remember in a really old freeze Brad Holmes just took like a blowtorch and slowly bent them...i dont know if it will work because Brad is a Crzy Fuck, but worth trying
 
back in the day i calmped mine to a table and used a heat gun (like an industrial hair dryer) and a big pair of vice grips and heated them for like 10 mins and bent em
 
I have bend a pair of really old skis and made a tail on then, we used a blowtorch and bent them, worked pretty nice exept that there became a lot of bubbles on the top sheet.. So now me and some friends are going to make a pair of homemade twintips
 
me and my buddies all made our own twin tips. when ended up getting 5 pairs of rentals from our ski hill, all we did was call my sister over and told her to sit on the ends for two days. then we put rivits in the tips, it worked out
 
why wouldn't you just go buy a pair? you are going wayyy out of your way to make something thats probably gonna end up not working anyways.
 
i know i have thought about it, but that is just for fucking around with, like on bad rails, and backyard shit. they probably want them for something like that, urban, and backyard stuff where you wont wreck your skis whihc are worth a couple of hundred
 
Veiled which occurs when I am bored firmly. I transformed my pair of ski stones (of the Gangster 2 X) into double spatulas. In fact I hesitated to do them in tail coat... It is not very complicated to make, here the photographs with explanations.

1 Cutting of slits separated by 1 cm Ca will use to give the flex to the spatula.

2 times the slits cut with a hacksaw (P....... it is hard Gangsters!!! ) one puts the back end of the ski in vices, and one types on the cross-sections and the sole to format.

3 For my part, working the epoxy resin, I put fibres transversely in the grooves (wire of glass soaked with epoxy)

4 carbon and glass fibre Installation: 1 layer of Carbon in 200 gr., 2 layers of Glass in 200 gr., 1 layer of glass in 79 gr. for completion

5 Poses transparent Film for returned the

6 Drying 24 H minimum. For making well it would be necessary to cook all that during 7 H with 70° to cook the resin and fibres.

7 Photographs of the finished skis, it remains more than has to test all that!!!

they hold up pretty good. i primarily use them for rails. i didn't use carbon fiber like they did, just fiberglass.

someone said something about wanting it in english, well its pretty self-explanatory.
