Making ski movie, need help with pitch to film department

what up ns, me and my friend are trying to make a ski movie for our winter term (we have one month of class in january, and were trying to get credit to go skiing and film it instead)

in order to get this approved, we need to pitch our idea to the film department, and we have to be able to back it with our goals for the project, why we want to make it, how we are going to make it etc. Now we all know we really just want to go skiing, but we have to sound professional doing it. my friend snowboards and i ski, so for starters we were thinking about using the idea of the different perpectives that come from skiing/boarding, or something like that

if you have any experience in bsing such a project, or have any ideas, please share

i dont really know to much about filming and stuff like that. so dont take it to seriously

how about your snowboarder buddy follws you around for a run or two and hits all the jumps/drops that you do (side by side) then you follow you snowboarder buddy around for a run or two and do the same thing. then edit

idk , maybe something about showing a different culture around the resort and ski/snowboard world?

talk about how skiing/snowboarding is suck an addiction equal to that of drugs. once you get a taste of a good line you are on that high and you cant get enough. What it feels like to rehab all summer to then shoot up come opening day. how first chair and powder shots are such thrills. yea..... doo it
