Making Money Mowing Lawns.

Allrigth I need to make around 600-1000 CANADIAN dollars by the time school starts again preferably, or have some after school job during the fall, until winter and skiing start. Now I was htinkgin mowing lawns would be good. I have a few questions. First, I dont own a lawn mower, what can I do about this? Second, hwo much do I charge, the lawns around here are relly small, like 20x20 meters. Second, hwo do you get business? go door to door? advertise somewhere? Next, is there any other job I couldget thats not full time and will get me quick cash?

Dont make it just mowing lawns do landscaping, people will pay you alot, i do about 4 3 acres of lawn for 90 bucks. I weedwack too. A rental center will rent you a lawnmower for a certain amount of time. I dont know if you have questions ask me, thats what i do.

I dont really know what landscaping consists of... and alsoim only 14 so maybe people wont take me seriously?

Just go door to door around your hood with a paper explaining who you are, what you would do for them and other stuff... when you show up to their doors be confident dont look at the ground like a little kid, show your responsible.. but you said you desperatley need cash best thing i can think of would be to get a job, or ebay.

 
how do I make money on ebay? and also, what kind of job, thats my question...

go around your hood on trash day and see if you get lucky.. sell stuff you dont want thats around your house, ask your friends to give you stuff they dont want, and then sell its not hard... and jobwise, fast food. im not sure if you could get anything else at 14. or try and get a busboy job.

once again another stupid post......dude you mow the grass and they give u money. its pretty simple. I hate to be a dick here but its pretty much common sense. Good door to door esp old people and offer a price and to do it once a week. WOW was that hard jeez

How to get a mower? Buy one. Get some capital to start a business - try your parents. Buy the mower, pay it off, and start profiting. If you don't know how to get a mower, you probably shouldn't be trying to do this.

Yeah I charge around $20 for mowing, weed whacking and edging, but the yards are really small. For advertising, print out pamplets or posters and put them in mailboxes of the ppl in your neighboorhood. You can still rent stuff from home depot if you don't have a mower.

 
^ You cant put anything in peoples mailboxes... its considered like a federal crime or some other bullshit.

at 14 i was refereeing soccer games for $40 a game. I usually got like 3-4 games a weekend so thats a good way to make some money

The thing is its too hard for us to move the mower around, but yeah acually I asked abotu otehr summer jobs too. I dont know how I can get a paper route, that would be sick, just do it every day before school, if you make good money... and also, reffing soccer would be siick, except I just dont think that I can still get in on it, the season started a LONG time ago.

too bad about the refereeing, that is good easy money. Go door to door mikee and find someone who has a lawn mower and offer to mow their lawn for free if they let you borrow their lawn mower to do other lawns, all you have to pay for then is gas. Make sure to express how reliable and responsible you are and that you have mnay years of experience cutting your own lawn.

 
I just started doing my own landscaping thing with neighbors and i made 250 bucks for doing mulch and edgeing and weeding

dude, be a steet preformer, that would be sick, you could like make a little tiny inrun and then make a small jump onto a rail a grind that shit all day, haha, never mind, but what you could try is like make art work or something. one time i saw these kids make sick pictures with spray paint right infront of you and they sold for 25 bucks, and alot of people were buying them too, but...never mind

first you need to get yourself a damn lawnmower, and weed wacker, then you make a catchy advertisement, and call up rich, or old folks... then if you cand od a good job word spreads and people will begin to call you..

ok, get your friend to hold a kegger, but do't get enough beer for everyone, get enoug bbeer so everyone has enoug hto get buzzed to slightly drunk, then you come in once no more beer and start selling bottles and shots and mickeys out of your trunk. I did this and got paid 10 bucks for 2 beers fro mthese russian girls and 10 bucks for 4 shots of rum, could havem ade probably like 100 if i had enough alcohol, and i stil lgot to party it up

 
u dont ussually need to own a lawn mower, most people have them for u and if ur lucky they have a sit down, i charge in a range of 15 to 25 american 25 for big lawns 15 for medium lawns, they ussually take about an hour to two, dont get paied by the hour, just say how much u want, its a good way to make money, start with your relatives, then ask close friends or neighbors
