Making lexan slide better

when i got lexan it didn't slide, but i kept hitting it, and it broke, so don't hit it, but maybe try waxing it, thats what i do to my HDPE

i bought wax from a skateboard shop in town, so if you have a local skateshop, go down and buy some wax, its only like 5 bucks and it really helps

no need to buy wax from a skateshop, just buy parafine at any grocerystore and it will do the same for way cheaper

^^^^yeah great idea now my fucking box is sticky and the stuff is stuck on the and doesn't come off even by scrubbing it. It's not your fault though......I just tried it before I saw it suggested.

Yes it helps.....but it makes my board "suction cup to it". Maybe since you ski (right?) it will cause less suction. But it does help it slide.

Crisco (the same as Pam I think) made my box reaaaaally sticky when I tried it in the summer. In the winter I don't need to do anything to make the HDPE slide better. It slides rediculously fast by itself when we get snow on it and it's cold.

haha i probably should have said that was just an idea and i had never tried it. i have heard it somewhere though, i guess it doesnt work then. if you can't get it off, try fliping the lexan over to the side you didn't spray the pam on. and maby just dont use lexan....

I used it on HDPE not Lexan. It came off but it was such a mess it wasn't worth it. It doesn't matter now because when it snows HDPE slides like it would at a resort in the winter.

i didn't do that, but i have tried just spraying like this cheap knock off stuff of W-D-40 and it works amazing...................for about 2 runs and then it washes off

really just get some finer grit sand paper and sand that shit down. that with some snow or water on it will make your box slide like butta
