you don 't need to wax metal, and resorts typically use lexan, or hdpe (spelling). use the search bar, there are tons of threads on this, and theres a build a jib cult, so get an invite to that.
I wouldn't recommend PVC, because if you dont have dull edges, it's likely your edge will bite into it and you'll get tossed. Talk to your metal shop teacher (if you have one) that's how I made my 10 foot flatbar, for $25. Or go to a local welding shop and ask him to help you out.
ya stay away from pvc, it will end up maken you unhappy, unless you are maken a crappy summer rail that you can jsut slide with only your boots on. besides that its much better to learn to weld
^ i have a pvc rail and it works fine.. i caught an edge a couple times but nothing too bad and i mean like for fucks sakes someone wanna make a sticky that tells everyone what works good on boxes??? theres like 500 useless threads on this bullshit
Wax metal rails if they got paint on them If not no need to just make sure there wet. I de-tune my edges so they don't grab if somethings not waxed. Make a tree jib, its fun, easy, and most people have never done one.
climb to the top with a rope or chain preferably then get an atv or other vehicle to pull it down. it can't be more than 5 inches in diameter or you will have a tough time getting it down. beleive me I tried it this year was not fun
Sry I think I phrased it wrong, I mean like build a mini 1/4 pipe before a tree and stall it liek they do in WAR and other movies, I built one and tryed it for the first time and I really liked it cuz its like a wallride but harder.
