Last season I bought a pair of 163 Volkl kinks, not really knowing that much about them. First of all it was a mistake because they're short, but they're also super stiff. Is there any way I can soften them up?`

that being said I could flex and butter my kinks since day one...

Secondly, if the tips are kicking out from under you, its not the stiffness or the weight transfer of the ski, its the length. Get longer skis, get buttery. If you seriously think flex is an issue, theres J Skis, Shredators, etc. for soft ass skis.
