making a rail

does spray paint effect thte slide of the rail were gonna paint it PINK thanx

Sorry if this is in the past, but go to an ice arena around you, and get the snow from the Zamboni. They are generally more than happy to hook you up with it. That way, you can toss is down, and do it up during the summer. Try to toss the snow in the shade.

^ no its not, get a truckload of ice rink snow on a cloudy summer day and you can be slidin for a few hours, it works good dude ive done some urban rails that way.

there is much more to life than flourescent lights...

i dont know about u but here in the east coast we have no more snow so... if u need some speed to hit the rail use astroturf....works good... and i suggest u buy a big piece of PVC pipe (about 1 foot in diameter) ... fill it with snow.... and now u have a mobile rail... and this way you just build up the snow under th pipe to lean it into watever direction u want...

your choice on the paint, you could, but you are just going to end up with a grip of pink shit all over the place. toss some decals on the side if anything. the paint will slow you, or be wicked slick, depending on the temp. and if the top is wet. at most parks i have ridden, they seem to stay away from the tops painted, and they seem to know a thing or two. as for waiting for winter, come on!?!

I guess if your going to use PVC and wood then it would really be like a wakeboarding slider. I know there are a few sites on the net (and in magazines) that show you how to build wakeboarding sliders. Just need to make some modifications to make it steady in snow.
