Alright so iv got a 12foot rail about 2.5ish feet high and im getting realy tierd of making a jump out snow every time so iv decided to make one out of wood. (add some snow on the top in the winter) anyways i was wondering if anyone has any experiance making one or has any plans.

Thanks DC

Its simple just take the side veiw of the jump you want and cut it out of 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch ply wood then take 2x4's and run them across and cut out the top peice out of 1/4. sorry if its confuseing.

well if you are going to use wood make sure that you put turf or carpet on it so the snow sticks to it otherwise the snow justt slides off..

but the best alternative is making a jump out of dirt. I have done that and it workds great cause you can very easily adjust it to your liking if you screw up.

That is what i have done hope it helps

i took a small piece of plywood, put some 2x4's and a log and stuck it underneath, put snow on it and wallah a perfect jump hahah

Unless its winter, then you need a blowtorch or something to that affect, or an ice chisel

my friend and i just put down some logs and put a piece of plywood over them and cover it with snow. It's simple and it works fine.
