Making a jib tomorrow, just a few questions

The build a jib cult isnt that livlely considering im gogin to make this jib tomorrow, so i just had a few quick questions:

1. Do those green pipes that some constructions sites use work well to slide on?

2. Where should i make the drop in, off my buddies deck, or should we make a freestanding one?

3. If the ice rink doesnt have any snow out, can we use that orange fencing that most contrusction site also use?

Not sure what you mean by green pipes... I think you're talking about those pipes used for water or whatever that go underground, but im not sure. if thats what you mean, then yeah it'll slide.

And I would say make a freestanding drop in that way it's moveable and your not limited to what kind of rails you can hit because of the drop in.

And yes, the orange construction fencing slides good if you wet it down. make sure you take some like tent stakes to hold it down so it doesnt slide every where while you are trying to go down it.
 
yeah those underground pipes, my friend and i where thinking we could cut it into stripes and jsut attach it to the base or whatever.

if the freestanding drop doesnt work out, how high would the deck need to be? 4 feet?
 
Sure that build a jib cult isn't that active, but you can still read all you need. That's what i did, and i basically know all i need to know about stuff.
 
i was planning on hitting it tomorrow, and not spending any money on the materials, thats why i was asking if the deck would work
 
yeah, nistead of making supports for the drop in, we woul jsut take two supports and an old door that i have, make it flush enough with the ledge of the deck, and jsut go down from there
 
dude i have so much materials at my house you can use pvc pipes metal you name i got it

i can give some of my stuff where are you building it in your yard ?
 
I made a drop in ramp off my deck, it'll work as long as your rail isn't very high. Like a foot off the ground would work
 
i think its gogin to be 1 to 2 feet off the ground, if we make the rapm off a 4 foot drop from the deck with a tow, would that be fine?
