Lexan = Good but expensive. I found a 4 x 8 sheet sitting in my basement, 1/8 of an inch thick. Perfect for the box I'm making. PVC will work, Lucite will work, HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is ideal as well, cheaper than lexan, also gets the job done. Don't use Cintra. So far, not one person on this site has given any useful information as to where to buy puckboard, which is most likely made of one of the materials I mentioned anyways.

^we had to call like 10 places to get it. some copmany in PA has it. message snowsnowsnow for the company name. it doesnt slide all that great by itself, u gotta put some silicone spray on it. it was 100 bucks for 18 sq ft.

Wow, 100 bucks for 18 square feet, thats a rip. Especially for something that doesn't slide that well. Actually, wait, nevermind, I got my lexan for free, haha, its probably cheaper anyways. HDPE is cheaper than that though.

We are making ours out of a wood frame, does anyone know of a good sealant to use on the wood so it doesn't rot?

deck seal is pretty good, its what we sealed the hot tub deck with and no rotting has happened over years. it would be a good choice
