Ami gonna freez to death ... or any other advice?

Snowmaking is a very difficult job. After grooming at Killington and seeing how hard they half to work, made me never want to do that job ever in my life. Good luck

I made snow for Keystone in Colorado. It's a tough but fun job. Make sure you know what you are doing at all times. You can really get hurt or killed ( I am not trying to scare you) but just stay alert. It's a really fun job though. We rolled sleds all the time, made tons of snow, slid down the huge snow mounds we made on trash can lids. Just watchout when turning on the water, our water ran something like 900psi. Thats a lot! It gets crazy, when you turn the air on you have to hold the gun umtil you turn the water on,...then wow...SNOW!!

Really though, it's a fun job.

Oh yea, IT GETS COLD! Dress warm but dont over dress. Take a backpack with extra socks and layers that you can shange into. If you can, work the night shift its the best.

the coldest it got was about -45.

hmm..lake louise

lived there for 12 years, it gets cold, bundle up boy, especially if your pumping snow out of a hose

wait till a schnuk comes or watever u guys call it

then it gets cold

i was one of about 20 people on the mountain at the lake one day...it was minus 40, everyone was in the lodge cramming around those fires. fucking freezing. best of luck though

maybe you were thinking of a "manyberries chinook." sometimes it happens before a real chinook and its fuckin cold. i'm not making this up either...
