makin a jump

hey i wanna make a jump on this hill by my house, but im not sure how to make it. i wanna make it big enough to get air but it seems like i might not be able to get enough speed to go off a big jump. also is i possible for me to make a 1/4 pipe and just land in the same spot i took off??? how do i make it??

 
if you can't get speed for a decent sized jump a quarter pipe would be tiny and probably stink, just pile up some snow and make sure the lip isn't so steep as it bends yours skiis on take off and yeah your golden just make it like a couple feet tall good for practicin 3's

since the jump is gonna be small just pile up snow and then pack it in and shape it with a shovel if you are tryin to make a large higher quality jump, make bricks of snow in a cooler to stack upand then fill in with packed snow around the bricks.

 
I have a small hill in my backyard

I took some snow from my nabours snowbloaded snow so it was a little easyer to pack, and I did like a 3 feet tall 1\4 pipe for take off, and I put some water on it for it to be realy compact...and for the jump just pile up some snow,I personaly dont like steep small jumps, just do it like a table at you resort would do just not as big...get it?

i mad a huge pile of snow up against my house, then i just shape a 1/4 pipe out of it with a shovel and skiis. small like 6 feet but fun

it used to be something done on impulse, not reaserched. of couse if you don't WANT to get hert than this is a good idea.
