I used to drive by this Greyhound racing track when I was going to work in eastern Colorado plains. I was so disappointed to find out it’s no longer active. I get horse and canine racing can be less than humane when analyzed, but what a tease it was

Edit: figured it out, our old governor John Hickenlooper signed a bill banning it in 2014. And I voted for that guy! I think track was already shut down by then though because that was 2011-12 im thinking of

i’ve owned two ex-racing greyhounds and fuck this take. they barely sprain an ankle and get starved until they die, left in cages all day forced to live in their own piss and shit. fuck whoever thinks it’s ok to do that to animals
